Hand-Crafted Silver and Metal Jewelry Art
Hand Engraving
As an artist, I have worked in various mediums over the years: watercolor, acrylic, oil, wood, clay, and glass however, I have found real satisfaction in working with metal. It gives me an opportunity to use my drawing talents in conjunction with that "hands-on" feeling of working with tools and metal. The three-dimensional quality of jewelry brings the drawing to life.
I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed the creative process. My designs are handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, or variations on a style. I do custom designs working with the customer to create a personal piece. If you see something you like that is marked sold, drop me a note, and I can do a variation on the same theme; one that will suit your personal style.
I use traditional silver smithing techniques when creating my jewelry art. Each piece crafted using fine silver, quality bronze, copper or brass metals. I use high quality semi-precious gemstone and high quality stones in my designs. I create most of the findings: clasps, bails, catches for pins and brooches, and jump rings.
I use high quality sterling silver chains for my pendants. and create silk, leather, or cotton corded necklaces with silver fasteners.
Any piece can be personalized using traditional hand-engraving methods using hand gravers.
I guarantee my work, and if any piece ever needs repair within two months of the purchase, I will provide that repair free of charge. After two months, jewelry repair price will be negotiated.
I look forward to sharing my art with you and hope to hear from you soon.
Please contact me if you have any questions or wish to make a purchase. I will also work with you to create a piece that is unique to you and your style.
My studio is in eastern Pennsylvania. While I have lived in Pennsylvania for over 40 years, I am a native Western North Carolinian who still seriously considers herself a "southern gal"! Looking forward to hearing from all lovers of jewelry art!!
